we met Elizabeth HuiLing for the very first time.
it was an exhausting and emotional day for mommy, daddy, and Elizabeth
but it didn't take Elizabeth long to figure out we were different than her other care-takers....her countenance started to change...from a scared little girl to one who knew love and safety.

Elizabeth has grown from a scared little girl to one full of life, joy, and love.
She has come so far in just 3 years...and we simply cannot imagine life without her!

Oh my goodness. These pics bring back sweet memories and emotions for me. And reminds me once again of how the Lord used you and your blog to make me think more about filling out that SN application. Looking at sweet Elizabeth's face, and knowing that she was made so perfectly--how could anybody say "no" to her? Her sweet face made me say, "Yes--oh Yes!" to a child with SN's. And now look how blessed we are!! Thank you, Jesus!!! Love Your ways!!!
