July 4th we headed over to John's mom's house for breakfast
she let the kids pick fresh oranges and then taught them how to make fresh orange juice
then we headed to Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor for lunch with 3 of John's sisters!
**anyone else remember Farrell's?!**
we made the kids eat a small lunch so they'd have room for "The Pig Trough" :)
2 bananas, 6 scoops of ice cream, tons of syrup, whip cream....only the healthiest of lunches for our gang! :)

Oh, I loved Farrell's. I think I got to go for my birthday every year. Wasn't it in Tempe? I think we should learn to make our own "pig trough!"
