nothing better than waking up in Maui and having breakfast while watching the ocean!after breakfast we walked a few blocks to one of the local farmer's markets.
SO hard choosing only a few things to purchase!
Since it was just the 2 of us, we knew we couldn't eat everything we were eye-ing.
we ended up buying 2 of these pineapples (so super sweet -like candy) and 2 of the papayas just to the left...along with some fresh guacamole (not pictured...and didn't last long- we ate it in 1 day!)
we brought our fresh bounty back via a little walk on the beach
we stayed in the northern part of Kihei which is part of a large bay.

Our Monday was just a really lazy day -picnic on the beach, hanging out on the beach, driving around town a bit, and then a FABULOUS dinner in Lahaina.
our dinner was quite possibly the best dinner we've ever had.
and they sat us right on the edge of the restaurant.
