HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY ELIZABETH!

Today, my "baby" turns 3. I cannot believe it!

We had her birthday party yesterday, right after church.

Can you guess what the theme of this year's birthday was?! :)

She loves all things " 'Rella" so she received quite a few princess things.

Grandma made her cake, as is now beoming tradition. A small "wedding cake" type cake-3 layers with blue sprinkles and little pearls along the layers..with of course, a 'Rella doll as a topper.


As we celebrate her birth, I have to believe that somewhere in China there is a mother who is thinking of Elizabeth too. I know that I remember nearly every detail of the days I birthed Andrew and Becca. I have to believe that Elizabeth's birthmother has the same type of memories of February 9, 2006.

Oh how I wish she could see her little girl now...to know she is safe and sound...and healthy.

and in a family that loves her.

Becca got HER wish from the last 10 days....to hold babyJameson again. :) She was so good and sat and held him all by herself in our recliner for a good 10-15 minutes.

She loves babies soo sooo much. :)

NEWEST ADDITION -UPDATE

oh my. this teeny boy is just precious. he really really is. :)

it didn't work out for us to take Joanna (grandpa is doing so tomorrow morning), so we decided to go up to the hospital as a family. We had intended for 1 of us to stay in the waiting room with the kids while the other visited Joy and Jameson, and then switch.

**b'cuz it's RSV season, they ask that noone under 18 visit newborns unless they are siblings that are well, not sick**

But, maybe cuz we're family, they allowed us in for a quick visit.

I don't remember babies being that little! and my 2 bios were smaller than Jameson. that's just amazing!

Jameson was asleep most of the short time we were there, until, right at the end, he started to open his eyes. Elizabeth started yelling "eyes...he's eyes" (translation: he has eyes!!)

as you can tell by the pics, the girls loved holding him...Becca was a pro..she knew to support his head and just gazed so sweetly at him. Elizabeth was sweet with him, but thankfully we were helping her hold him cuz when she was done, she just dropped her hands and wiggled off the bed! :)

Andrew smiled at Jameson and talked to him..but he didn't want to hold him. It was sweet to watch him talk to Jameson. :)

I have a feeling we're going to be hearing "can we go visit Auntie today?" alot in the next few weeks to come.

MEET THE NEWEST ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY!

Meet our newest nephew/cousin..Jameson Javier!

My sister and family had quite the whirlwind night...loading up to go to grandma's at 10pm, getting to the hospital at midnight, to a delivery room by 1am, birth at 1:24am. :)

It was so fun to wake up to such exciting news. Becca was beside herself. she could barely eat breakfast she was so excited at the news baby Jameson had been born. She is OBSESSED with all things baby and has been praying for Jameson since the day she found out he was in Auntie's tummy. :)

I'm heading up to the hospital in a few hours-picking up my youngest niece on the way. :) She had to take a nap while the 3 oldest got to meet Jameson so I get to take Joanna with me. It will be fun to see her meet her new baby brother for the first time...and I'm just SO excited to meet my new nephew too.

Jacklyn, Josiah, and Jeremiah are sick and therefore are not allowed to visit their new brother in the hospital. Please pray for their health..and that the sickness will not travel to any of the other kids so they don't share it with my sister or baby Jameson.
