just to catch everyone up on what's going on over here

this is Mia. my sister's family dog..an itty bitty chihuahua. my kids love her..Becca LOVES her. we got to watch her for 2 days while my sister had baby Jameson. Andrew was afraid she was cold so wrapped her up in his blankie. :)

Elizabeth's hair is
just long enough to get into a pony tail. within an hour or 2, lots of little wispies had come out of the pony tail...but I was still pretty excited!

here are the kids doing school time.
I pretty much have Elizabeth color every day...but now she's starting to try to draw shapes and stuff. :)
Andrew and Becca are working on Math U See in this pic. Andrew really has a mind for math and science so he is loving this program. And because he learns so much by DOING, Math U See is perfect for him. I haven't really started Becca on the curriculum, just letting her play with the blocks/manipulatives and doing basic math stuff with her.

where we live there are still pockets-very small pockets :) - of "country". There are still a few dairies we drive by every day..and in the winter, there are always acres where sheep come to graze. These sheep are about 1/2 mile from our house. We drove by them on our way to the now infamous gymnastics class on Tuesday and I had promised the kids we could get out and see them up close on our way home.
it's funny cuz for a good 5 minutes or so, the sheep closest to us just stood perfectly still and watched us. Then, 1 big sheep came up to drink (we were standing by their watering troughs)...so the rest followed. The kids got a kick out them all walking up real close to them.

this is one of the MANY lambs. they aren't that small anymore, but it was fun to see some still nursing. :)
this little guy just was too cute not to photograph. :)

Awe, the lambs are so cute! When I was little I had a book about a baby lamb and I always wanted one as a pet! The last picture you posted remimded me of it. Adorable!
To comment on the other Jeanette's comment - we had lambs growing up...but soon learned where lamb-burgers came from. =p Looks like E's had a new haircut - it looks so cute!
Love the ponytail! And my, is E a beauty! I also just love seeing pictures and hearing about your school. :)
Pam
Maddy's hair "was" long enough for a ponytail until Marty had it cut off..ARGH. We are finally getting back to that point. E's hair looks adorable. :0)
Love the pics of the kids doing school work.
Also love the sheep.
