A NEW LOOK! ~and Eyob update

Yep ~you're at the right place if you were looking for Blessed by Baseballs and Bows. :)

A few months ago I was getting antsy to change up my blog look, so contacted my friend Keisha for help. I figured while I was freshening up the look, I'd change the title too (though the url stays the same). I think she did an amazing job ~thank you Keisha!!

We Will Rejoice just seemed perfect for the title.

Because that is what we will do ~in the good times and bad ~we will rejoice.

In the last few months we have walked a difficult, and at times unimaginable road ~and yet thru it all, God's hand has been upon us and He has provided for us miraculously.

In the midst of great blessing AND in the midst of suffering ~we will rejoice because we know He is in charge and working all things together for HIS glory.

I hope y'all like the new look as much as I do!




I had an anonymous comment asking about Eyob.
For many reasons, we need to keep what happened and what is happening private and we ask that y'all respect ours and his privacy.

what I will say is that he is doing great in his new family and we are in awe of how God has miraculously provided for us and Eyob.

Biruk is doing fine with Eyob not being here. The boys really were not very close, partly becauase there is a 7 yr age difference and partly due to the way Eyob treated Biruk. We have met with an amazing Ethiopian pastor a few times and had him translate stuff for us. Among the items translated has been our situation w/Eyob~ so that Biruk understands Eyob is ok and he can talk to or see Eyob anytime he wants to.
