we're leaving in about 3 hours for our first road trip as a family of 6!
we have quite a bit planned for the next 6 days~hopefully meeting up with the director of YWAM adoption this afternoon (we're driving thru where she is vacationing with family!), beach, BBQ's, SeaWorld, visting with friends we met in Ethiopia who adopted one of Biruk's best buds, visting with family...and hopefully lots of relaxation!!!
Biruk is beyond excited for this trip ~we've shown him pictures of the beach and SeaWorld and he keeps saying "for me, I like! for me, I go!"
He has been "helping" me pack the last 2 days. It's very sweet, but it's making for double my work because I'm having to re-pack everything ....there's a method to my madness in packing cuz I'm a type A ~and he just throws things in. :)

Have a great time! This is a perfect time to get away from this nasty heat! Can't wait to hear about the trip.

I know you will have a blast....and you need a vacation my friend!! :) Every time we traveled the first time after an adoption it was always a great bonding experience. Hope it's the same for you. Looking forward to pictures!
