Since I use this blog as a kind of scrapbook for our family, I didn't want to forget to post about some of the things our family has done since Biruk has been home. :)
2 weekends ago we made home-made ice cream -yummy!
meet "Grover"
we found him in our pool the other day.
thankfully, John was on his way home so I BEGGED him to come help me catch him.
"Grover" kept swimming to the bottom of the pool and anytime he came near the surface for me to try to get him with the pool skimmer ~he'd swim away as soon as he felt the skimmer against him.
Right before John got home I was able to get him onto the skimmer and tried to get him into the bucket ~but he hopped onto our HOT gravel.
I didn't want fried frog in our yard either so John somehow got him into the bucket and walked him down to the canal a few houses down.

Last weekend they were done so we went to a local park to watch them blast -off.
videos are posted at the bottom -but needless to say -we all had a GREAT time ~especially the boys. :)

Love posts like this!!! Can I just say that alll of your kids have THE BEST smiles!!! What an awesome reflection of the life God has blessed you all with!
I love picture posts. Sometimes they are the best. Everyone looks so happy and cheerful.
That family picture of all of you literally made me tear up.
And the picture where Biruk's eyes are covered made me laugh because of how the other little boy (is that Josiah?) is covering his eyes, too.
Precious!
