the kids are attending a homeschool enrichment school 1 day a week again this school year.
They LOVE it...and I love the few hours off on Wednesdays I get AND the fact they are learning things I can't/don't teach them.
This year Andrew, being in 3rd grade, isn't in a self-contained class with 1 teacher. Every hour he rotates classrooms (the whole class of 3rd graders rotate together so no-one gets lost! :) )...he has science, art, writing (this is one area I'm REALLY excited to have someone else helping me teach him!), PE, computers,and music.
Biruk and Becca are again in the same class ~2nd grade ~and they are BLESSED to have Andrew's 2nd grade teacher from last year (we LOVE her!!). Becca was a bit disappointed after the first day -there are only 4 other girls in her class! She did become fast friends with 1 of those 4 so I think she'll survive. :)
Elizabeth is now in 1st grade. A dear friend of ours has their little girl in the same class PLUS Elizabeth has NO trouble making friends...so she seems perfectly happy in her new class.

We have gotten into the swing of our year too. One of these days, I need to look into those enrichment programs....I have several friends that do casa vita.....but it feels like right now it's just too much for me! =) May God bless your school year!
