we can see the floors!
I've learned beyond a shadow of a doubt -I do not function well in a ton of clutter!

Saturday afternoon, after the sale and after taking all the leftovers to my parents (where my sister will try to have another sale to benefit the gal living with her)...we swept the garage, I vacuum'd the entire house, we tidy'd up a bit....and I felt this HUGE sense of relief.
The sale went well. We were competing with some other sales in the area so that probably diminished our profits...but still, we raised a huge amount of $$ to go towards the family that lived with us and towards donations for Ethiopia.
We are thankful for everyone who helped (my mom & dad especially), who donated, who shopped....but mostly, we're just thankful it's over. :)
now-on to getting ready for our trip to Ethiopia!! :) I've already started putting things in our spare bedroom for us to take on our trip. hehehehe!

Ahhhh...Relief. Done! Glad you had a successful sale and gladder you are now "back to normal." A good feeling, I know.
The last comment says Emily, but it was actually me, Pam. :) In a hotel in DC. Bill's at the Embassy with Em while the girls and I are hanging out a bit. :) Not sure how to get back into my account, so I'm Emily for now.
Oh, I'm so glad it was a success! Especially since that means no more clutter... I don't do well with clutter either, though the Husband flourishes with it. Seriously, he's like mold.
Been thinking and praying for you guys! Wow, your adoption really has moved fast. Praise God you passed court before the new rules-how awesome is that! Can't wait to see pictures of your new sons. Congrats!!! Desiray Christen
