QUICK UPDATE

everyone is asking for pics....someday we'll have time to get some uploaded here (from our trip) but right now we're trying to just survive each day.
we're still dealing with jetlag, getting the new kids adjusted, getting the "original" 3 adjusted, etc etc.

Andrew and Rebecca have turned the corner on their sickness...Elizabeth is still pretty sick. High fever and the coughing -poor punkin'.
So far John, Eyob, Biruk and I have escaped the sickness ~crossing our fingers!

2 big milestones already:
1)we made our first trip as a family of 7 to Wal*Mart. It went exceptionally well ~we sat everyone down before we left and laid down the law -stay right by us at all times and absolutely DO NOT ask for anything. If you ask -you will automatically be told no.

In and out of Wally World in about 25 minutes.
2)John returned to work this morning. It was inevitable. I ask for your prayers for today...and all the other days he has to go to work. :) It's WAY easier to have him home so we can give all the kids the attention they need.

here is 1 pic that perfectly depicts these 2 right now.

they are best buddies already. it is absolutely precious to see them together.

I was afraid Biruk would bond well with the kids but not us...but God has been gracious in that Biruk is coming to me for comfort, for food/drink, for security (as soon as we entered Wally World he ran to me and grabbed my hand and wouldn't let go pretty much the whole time).

I need to go start getting breakfast ready ~ we are going thru ALOT more food these days! It takes me forever to get meals prepared now because A)my brain is still mushy from jet lag and B) the 2 new boys eat double what the original 3 eat so I'm having to prepare 2-3times as much food as I used to!

**and 1 more side note** Biruk is still fascinated with the pantry and the fridge/freezer! I catch him just standing in the pantry starting at everything and last night I caught him standing with both doors to the fridge/freezer open and with wide eyes I heard just above a whisper "wow...wow...wow".
