VACATION ~DAY TWO

Day 2 ~the 4th of July!!

We slept in and then decided to exercise off the food we were planning on eating later that day. :)

Not far from John's sister's house is their high school...so we all headed over there to run around.

Everett is an awesome lacrosse player so he was teaching the kids how to play.

later in the afternoon, John's family came over to Paula's for BBQ and swimming.
John decided to teach the kids how to do "chicken fights"
~they had fun but it did get a bit rough and competitive!

Auntie Paula's newest addition to their house is a ping pong table ~which Andrew quickly became addicted to

can't have the 4th w/o sparklers!

our niece Jessica and her sweet beau Jonathan were kind enough to entertain our kids for the majority of the afternoon/evening.

Here they all piled onto poor Jonathan. :)

once it got a bit darker, the older kids lit some fireworks (tame ones) for our little kids to watch. It was nothing like a professional show ~but our kids didn't know any different and thought it was GREAT!


next up ~days 3 and 4 ~dropping down to San Diego and hitting Sea World!
