my baby is fully p*tty trained.
basically in 1 day.
I'm not kidding.
after the "pe*ing on my kitchen floor" incident the other night, she then went ALL day Wednesday with a dry diaper. Every time she told me she had "to go", we'd run, she'd go, we'd jump up and down and clap and scream (we being everyone in the family-Andrew and Becca included!), etc. We were so proud of her, but careful to not get our hopes up.
Thursday, as I was doing school with Andrew and Becca, Elizabeth told me she had to go-I asked her to wait just a second as I was in the middle of something with the other 2. The next thing I know, I hear the toilet flushing and she comes running out saying "I do it myself" and she's as proud as a peacock!

I kid you not, the whole rest of Thursday, she goes totally on her own...even at the gym. No help from anyone...even shutting the door on us for privacy! ha!
So, Thursday afternoon, me and the kids made a run to Tar*get so Elizabeth could pick out her first set of under*wear.
She put on her first pair this morning...Cinderella ones. :) She gets to wear them at home, but when we got out in public, I'm putting a pull*up on her "just in case".
Next up......Andrew!
Andrew had his first soccer practice last night and his first game is tomorrow (Saturday). :)
My baby is growing up.
as most of you who have little boys know, it's mostly just little boys running around on the field just trying to kick the ball....no real order to the thing. :) but he's going to have so much fun and John said his coach is fabulous...a really nice guy who worked really well with the boys last night and had some really great drills for them to do.
This is Andrew's first experience with organized sports and I think it's going to be so great for him!

Congrats Elizabeth!!! You are becoming such a big girl...
You will love watching the boys " play soccer". My grandson played and so did my granddaughters. My older granddaughter played Club soccer last year and traveled to Hawaii last year... Josh who is 6 is playing t ball this year.. Nothing like watching kids learning and trying......Linda
Yeah for Elizabeth!!! That's exactly what Savannah did! I'm so proud of E! Isn't it great that they just decide to do it themselves?? Adorable picture of E too! Andrew looks so handsome in his soccer attire too!
Happy fun!!
Dry panties and soccer balls to everyone :0)
So much fun!
Awesome job Elizabeth and have fun Andrew!
I love the picture of Eli.... I see the peacock feathers!
Congratulations on being such a big girl!! I just love how excited they get over the new panties. Oliva had that same expression.
You will so enjoy soccer. At that age they are hilarious!

Congratulations, Miss E! Our efforts at PT...dropped for the time being. No action on p*tty this morning, but 2 minutes after we put on the Dora pants there was a puddle on my rug. Next try was Dora _under_ pull*ups...another nothin' doin' in the p*otty...not long after, dirty Dora and pull*up. Ugh! I don't think we're quite ready. :)
Andrew looks so grown up in his "uniform." :)
GREAT JOB Elizabeth! I am so proud of you!!! What a big girl you are!!!!
I hope Andrew enjoys his time playing soccer. What a blessing it is that John is his coach! The boys are so proud to have their dad coach their team (Jeff is coaching 2 basketball teams this season!) They will be building memories for a lifetime!
Welcome to the world of soccer moms! :0)
Congrats to Miss E for that quick potty training. Maddy still has accidents on occasion. She definitely cannot "hold it". And, she needs a stool to step on to be able to reach the toilet. She won't dare try to climb up on it. hehe
What a face! Wow - your kids have all potty trained so differently from eachother. It may have seemed frustrating to wait, but isn't it worth it to wait once they are ready?! I remember Jordan being the same way. Andrew looks so big. The kids are so excited for him that he is playing soccer - they can hardly believe it.
Sweet kids! Congratulations. I'm gearing up to potty train my second and hope it goes as smoothly as it did for my first. Thanks for sharing.
Elizabeth always has the best smile - she's adorable as always! Andrew is very handsome in his soccer outfit too! Congrats to your kids, Wendy
