I've finally found a few minutes here and there to get these pics uploaded!
Caution -there are alot of them. :)
the water was COLD for us desert dwellers!
daddy had to "rescue" Elizabeth. He was right there with her when a wave knocked her down a bit. She will still tell you "I taste the beach-it yucky". :)

this boy had sand EVERYWHERE!

For some reason Becca kept running out to get the wet sand and bring it up to the dry sand.

daddy took the 2 brave ones out for rides on the boogie board

this is what happens after spending 5 hours at the beach. :)
the kids with John's mom
Becca has such a soft heart for animals. We stay at John's sister's house whenever we visit and she has an old German Shepherd, Mindy, that has to be put on the side yard whenever we eat outside -cuz she'll beg for food. :)
Becca finished her dinner early and went over and talked with Mindy thru the fence until she was let out.
After 2.5 days w/John's family, we drove to see my extended family.
my cousin gave the kids a little toy from the circus -a cannon that shoots out a little plastic man.

they decided to try to catch the little shooting man with a plastic flower pot as their bucket.

My aunt takes care of my cousins' 3 kids so her house is VERY kid friendly :)

I didn't get permission to post up close photos of my cousins' kids so this one will have to suffice :) the kids played SO well together and had such a good time.
if you're wondering where the 3rd cousin is...she is only 10 weeks old so no trampoline jumping allowed. :)

Great pictures, I'm glad you guys had a good time.
I love all of the pictures! Too funny about E saying she tasted the ocean! And look how long her hair is getting. Becca is so sweet talking to the dog. What an adorable picture. I love Andrew and all of his sand too! I bet that was hard to get out of his ears.
Looks like a wonderful vacation.

I enjoyed seeing all the pictures!
My granddad had Alzheimer's, too; I hope I was always as sweet with him as your girls are with your granddad. I'm wondering--how do you explain his disease to your children? I'm assuming you prepped them in advance so that they knew what to expect?
What a great trip!
Looks amazing ! I sooo need a vacation too. Looking forward to florida in November for Maddy's birthday !
Gasp. Why wasn't the ten-month-old allowed on the trampoline?!?!! My goodness - what strict parents! ;)
Glad y'all had a wonderful vacation in the sun and sand.
Looks like everyone had "happy fun!!" Loved the ones of Andrew buried in the sand and with sand on his face and in his ears!! Oh what fun the beach is!!
Looks like a great time was had by all. Very fun! Thanks for sharing pics. Sweet blessings, Amy
Oh, it looks like you had a great time! I can really tell how much E has grown - so big! Andrew looks like he's rolled in cinnamon sugar in his post-sand shot. I can't imagine having to hose him down afterwards! And Becca still has the sometimes mature-beyond-her-years look. What a precious bunch! (Hope we get to meet them soon! ;)
Great pictures!!
