today I received 2 "I love you mom" 's from Biruk.
The first was after he finished making me coffee he said "I love you mom". It stopped me in my tracks..you know..when you aren't sure you really heard what you thought you heart. I gave him a big hug and kiss and told him I loved him too.
then tonight, as I tucked him into bed, I told him I loved him in English and Amharic and then he smiled and said "I love you mom" again.
ahhhhhh -so sweet!

I'm so glad you're up and running again. I'm very much enjoying hearing all about your new boy. :) I'm still waiting patiently for my boys to learn to say I love you. I will melt. I can imagine you did too.
