Meet Nutmeg..."Meg" for short.
We adopted her on Jan. 8th from the lab rescue.
She's a black lab mix...we're not sure what the mix is though! maybe shepherd? pointer?
They guessed her to be 4-6 months old.
She is pretty timid and shy and quite skittish of anything new or unfamiliar...but in 1 month she's come a long way.
She is totally bonded to me and the kids and is coming along with John. :) She was terrified of him at first (she's much more wary of men than women) but has definitely warmed up to him.

in fact, at night when we tuck the kids in, she just jumps onto her bed and it's TOUGH to get her off! Sometimes I literally have to pick her up and carry her off.
We've made a pact with Becca that after Meg is totally house trained and crate trained, we'll think about letting Meg sleep all night in her bed.
I think both Becca and Meg would prefer that arrangement!
